QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND AS MEDIATOR IN CIVIL CASES

Jim Ryan has served as mediator in 112 civil cases to date, 95 of which settled at the mediation.

He has extensive experience in general civil litigation, with a concentration in employment law. The employment cases he has mediated cover the full range of discrimination claims under state and federal statutes, as well as the other statutory and common-law claims that typically arise in the employment setting.  He also mediates noncompetition and trade-secret cases, as well as disputes involving close corporations and partnerships.

He is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
